finale…

This turned out first-rate! And it fits just right! The shoulders and sleeves are perfect, the thickness of the knitted pieces matches well with the fabric.  I love it!

Do I get on with the next one while this is all fresh in my mind or pick a new project and save the light coloured denim for the spring? Decisions, decisions…

What a satisfying finish — the fit really does look spot-on, especially the shoulders and sleeves, and I like how the thickness of the knitted pieces sits against the fabric rather than fighting it. Your closing dilemma is so relatable: starting the next one while all the measurements and adjustments are still fresh in mind versus saving that light-coloured denim for spring. On longer projects like this I have found that keeping a simple running tally of rows, especially for the two sleeves, is what keeps them truly matching, because it is easy to lose count after a break and end up a few rows out. I hope you do go for the next one while this one is fresh — it looks wonderful worn.
