what NOT to do...

Change your mind after you've made tons of swatches and not swatch again! What was I thinking? Why did I do that? Is this becoming my mantra?  Will I ever learn? Arrr-g-g-h-h-h!
Here I am, perking along on the Church Cardi, using this fabulous yarn (Cascade Ultra Pima) and loving it! I'm making the front band - it's 145 stitches wide, all hand-transferred, not really a big deal, but it's not exactly stockinette and for some reason I get adventurous and decide randomly to offset the second pattern...get it done, take  it off on waste yarn and it looks awful! a hodge-podge of stitches, fighting each other! or is it?
Glad I bought extra yarn! you know how I hate to unravel...I also believe in saving mistakes so you don't do them again!
